(Sleep paralysis) I open my eyes, my hand is over both in curved so I can barely see, but then it was like something was moving me, the door in front of me, light started to turn green. Then the door opened, something walked in. Then where my hand was I saw a dirty finger trying to lift it. I got scared and closed my eyes not wanting to see a scary creature. Then I fell back to sleep, next wake up again (into another sleep paralysis) something grabs my wrist and lifts it up but I can’t move it starts to shake me and I finally wake up with my hand in the air able to but very scared.
This dream appears to be a reflection of your experience with sleep paralysis. Sleep paralysis occurs when your mind is awake but your body is still in a state of temporary paralysis, causing vivid hallucinations and a sense of fear or impending danger. In the dream, the sensation of something moving you and the door opening may represent the feeling of being trapped or helpless during sleep paralysis. The green light could symbolize an eerie or supernatural presence. The dirty finger trying to lift your hand may indicate the intrusion of an unwanted or alarming force into your personal space. Your fear reaction and decision to close your eyes suggest a desire to avoid confronting any perceived threat. The second episode of sleep paralysis, where something grabs your wrist and shakes you, further emphasizes the feeling of being immobilized and potentially attacked. This could reflect your subconscious fear and uneasiness during sleep paralysis episodes. Overall, this dream seems to be a manifestation of the unsettling experiences you have during sleep paralysis, where the inability to move or defend yourself creates fear and anxiety. It may be helpful to explore relaxation techniques or speak with a healthcare professional if these episodes continue to disturb your sleep.
